As a Backend Intern, you’ll contribute to high-impact projects, write clean and efficient code, and learn what it takes to deliver a delightful investing experience to millions.

About Smallcase

At smallcase, we are changing how India invests. smallcase is a leading provider of investment products & platforms to over 10 million Indians. We're a young, driven team of 250+ headquartered in Bangalore. smallcase was founded in July 2015 by three IIT Kharagpur graduates, Vasanth Kamath, Anugrah Shrivastava and Rohan Gupta.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Passion for learning and building
• Strong interest in backend development and distributed systems
• Experience with any backend language — Node.js, Python, or Golang
• Exposure to databases — MongoDB, MySQL, or other NoSQL systems
• Active GitHub, side projects, or contributions to open-source are a big plus
• Looking for graduates who will be passing out in 2027
• Looking for hands-on backend experience in a real product environment

• Own small but meaningful features and improvements from start to finish
