As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) on the NC2 Engineering team, you'll work on large-scale distributed systems, cloud-native services, and automation platforms that power mission critical deployments for customers around the world.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 8+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale distributed systems, cloud platforms, or infrastructure software
• Strong experience designing and building scalable distributed systems and cloud-native backend services
• Hands-on expertise with one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the core management plane that powers Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2)
• Architect and develop highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend services
• Drive the design and implementation of cloud-native services with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence
• Lead technical design discussions and evaluate trade-offs in distributed systems
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership, architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices
