Overview

As a Software Engineer on the Universal Print team, you will contribute to building and operating production cloud services used by customers around the world. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers in a collaborative, startup‑style team within Microsoft, gaining hands‑on experience across the service lifecycle.

Requirements & Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain features for a global cloud service with guidance.
• Contribute to backend services and REST APIs using modern engineering practices.
• Write high‑quality, maintainable code and accompanying unit tests.
• Assist with monitoring service health and investigating issues in live environments.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team planning activities.
• Learn and apply security, privacy, and compliance best practices in production services.
